THE PREMISE
In August 2023, NIJISANJI approached us to create a custom tournament in Minecraft for 20 of their streamers to compete against each other.
...and so the NIJIEN Prism Cup was born.
THE LOBBY
We divided the main lobby into 8 sections, each one representing a NIJISANJI wave:
LazuLight, Obsydia, Ethyria, Luxiem, Noctyx, Iluna, XSOLEIL, & KRISIS.
Each of these sections boasts its own individual theme, meticulously crafted to capture the essence and distinct characteristics of the respective wave. From the serene beauty of LazuLight's rivers to the otherworldly realms of Ethyria's heaven and hell, from the vibrant neon art deco aesthetics of Luxiem to the dystopian cyberpunk landscapes of Noctyx, every section's design was curated with precision and creativity to immerse participants in the world of each wave.
The excitement and adventure extended beyond the architectural marvels. We strategically placed 31 collectibles throughout the lobby, each representing a specific streamer's fanbase. Players were challenged to discover and retrieve all of these collectibles, adding an engaging layer of exploration to the event. The first team to successfully locate and collect all 31 items gained a competitive advantage for the remainder of the tournament.

FOUR TEAMS
Players were grouped into 4 teams, each with 5 streamers.
THE GAMES
1. DODGEBALL
A fast-paced 5v5 dodgeball game.
The mission: eliminate opponents by hitting them with arrows.
Two crucial arrows spawn in the map's center, and teams must race to secure them and launch them at the opposing side. In this intense showdown, the last team standing emerges victorious.
2. RELAY PARKOUR RACE
This classic game takes on an exciting relay twist!
Teams of five players unite in a thrilling race to the finish line, where the parkour challenges intensify as they approach the end. To add a custom twist, players must navigate around a statue of Vox Akuma's mascot, Oni Giri, to reach the grand finale.
Players must test their parkour skills in this exhilarating relay race.
3. TAZUMI'S CARRIAGE
A thrilling payload-style game. Players are divided into teams of five, assuming the roles of either bandit attackers or valiant guardians of Tazumi's carriage.
Tazumi, NIJISANJI's CEO, has a very important meeting to get to in the Dragoon Saloon.
A group of bandits lurk the town's streets, poised to launch an attack at any given moment. Will Tazumi make it to his meeting?
In 'Tazumi's Carriage,' the Wild West comes alive with action, strategy, and adventure.
